EDUCTOR OR VENTURI SYSTEM CONTINUOUS
FLOW
This system will pick up product under vacuum from one or
multiple pick up points.
In the case of the system on the video this was one of three
systems each picking up a specific part from 4 of your segmenting
machines - the final arrangement would have 12 pick up points.
The product is under vacuum until it passes through the venturi
nozzle, at this point it is being conveyed under a positive
pressure. Product aid conveying air discharge into a separator
and product drops to final collection point.
QUICKDRAFT SYSTEM ADVANTAGES
Flexibility of design, ducts can be run against walls as
opposed to overhead of workers. Numerous directional and elevation
changes are easy built into the system design.
Product is conveyed rapidly (several hundred feet per minute)
in an air stream.
No product loss in the conveying system as product is contained.
No residue dripping off conveyors because product and any
residue is contained.
Water is not required to assist in conveying the product.
Duct/tubes on edible product conveying systems will incorporate
CIP ports.
