To respond to the demands for food safety, Quickdraft has
developed a 100% uptime Casing Removal System (CRS) for R.T.E.
weiners and sausage processes that provides numerous benefits.
The system is Clean In Place (CIP), where steam, high temperature
water or a chemical solution can be drawn through the entire
length of the system. Productivity is improved, as peeler
operation is continuous.
THE SYSTEM DOES NOT PLUG
Casing flow is direct from peelers to compactor. There are
no canisters, dampers, valves or fans in the conveying air
stream to clog, jam, or otherwise impede casing flow. Quickdraft
systems are designed to run 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Systems will handle an infinite number of peelers and convey
over 450 feet. Systems capture steam at the source and will
reduce bacteria count in the peeler room.
Trim from packaging lines can be captured in a separate system
or incorporated into a common separator design.
