Venturi Exhausters for Use with Lime Slakers
Our Venturi Exhauster is an excellent choice to vent steam and dust from lime slaker exhaust systems. Our units are used extensively by most original equipment slaker manufacturers, and have been the preferred choice by OEM’s for more than 20 years.
With our Quickdraft Venturi Exhauster, the steam and dust are pulled into and through our Venturi. The Venturi has an unobstructed exhaust flow path and the motor and blower assembly is completely out of the exhaust air stream. There are no moving parts internal to the Venturi. Our exhauster provides excellent service life with virtually no maintenance.

Versatility
- All models can be installed either horizontally or vertically
- All models can be installed either in-line with the exhaust stack, or at the termination of the stack
- The blowers can be operated at constant speed or can be automatically adjusted using a variable frequency drive controller
- The air injected from the blower can be ducted from a different area or outside air can be ducted to the blower
- The blower can be directly coupled to the Venturi, or located remotely
Maintenance Friendly
- There are no motors, impellers, bearings or shafts in the exhaust airstream
- All moving parts are external to the exhausted steam and dust and are unaffected by moisture and other adverse factors that are typically detrimental to an in-line exhaust fan
- Vibration problems common with an in-line exhaust fan are eliminated
- The Venturi is constructed of 304 stainless steel
- The Venturi can be provided with flanged ends or unflanged ends
