1Perforated Air Relief Section

  • Perforated and Tapered Duct Section will relieve conveying air prior to discharge to the pulper
  • Will reduce dust and paper pieces from blowing up from the pulper to the operating floor
  • Can be shrouded and connected to a fan suction for additional air pull off
  • Shroud can be connected to a Dust Collection System if desired
  • Stock and White Water Spray Nozzles available to reduce dust and housekeeping issues around pulper

2Velocity Controlled Dampers

  • Position based on Winder Speed
  • Reduces System Suction at low winder speeds and ramps up to full suction at full winder speed
  • Reduces noise levels at intake hoods in slow speed situations
  • Reduces trim tears and improves slitter quality at low speed operation
  • Various types of dampers and bleed in valves available
  • Can also be accomplished with Blower Variable Frequency Drive

3Air Lubricated Intake Hood

  • Allows frictionless transition from high speed paper web to Edge Trim Collection System
  • Compressed Air Nozzles stabilize and control the paper edge trim to eliminate flutter and potential plugs or web breaks
  • Allows for tight radius 90 degree turns for the edge trim in the very restricted slitter area
  • Precision engineered to connect to and move with the slitters as needed
  • Trim widths to 16”, Trim speeds to 8,500 FPM, very heavy material grades
